In the heart of Kinshasa, STE LRI GROUP, through Lubrinex SARL, has established a cutting-edge industrial complex dedicated to the circular economy — focused on processing waste oil and producing high-grade lubricants and bitumen.
Bitumen Processing & Waste Oil Re-refining
The plant processes waste oil that would otherwise be an environmental hazard. Through advanced re-refining processes, this waste is reclaimed and transformed into high-quality base oils and bitumen products — preventing harmful chemicals from entering Kinshasa's ecosystem.
LUBRIN X Product Line
The facility produces a comprehensive range of lubricants under the Lubrin X brand. By producing lubricants locally, we reduce reliance on imported finished products and support the domestic supply chain across the DRC.
Resource Efficiency & Local Production
By re-refining used oil, we save roughly the equivalent amount of crude oil that would be needed to manufacture new base oils — creating a true circular economy. Our operations have created numerous skilled jobs within the community.

POWER PERFORMANCE
Under the LUBRIN X power performance brand, STE LRI GROUP SARL's objective is to provide clients and end users with a readily available, locally produced, high-quality lubricant tailored to meet the specific operating conditions of the DRC — eliminating the supply chain risk, currency exposure, and price premium of 100% imported alternatives.
LUBRIN X products are formulated with EELQMS-compliant additive packages sourced through our qualified Middle Eastern supplier network, blended into base oils from SN150 to SN500, and certified to applicable API, SAE, and ISO specifications.
