Heavy Duty Engine Oils
Heavy Duty Engine Oils (HDEO) are formulated for high-stress diesel engines in commercial trucks, mining equipment, construction plant, and generators. LUBRIN X HDEO products use advanced detergent/dispersant additive systems to control soot, prevent deposit formation, and neutralise acids from combustion under the high ambient temperatures typical of DRC operations.
BITUMEN PROCESSING
The DRC requires approximately 100,000 MT of bitumen annually for road construction and maintenance. STE LRI GROUP SARL targets 30,000 MT per year — producing penetration bitumen, cutback grades (MC-30, MC-70, MC-3000) and cationic emulsions (K1-60, K1-70) for every application.

Primary road construction bitumen for tropical climates. Ideal for hot-mix asphalt surfacing on DRC national highways and urban roads.
Bitumen 80/100
Penetration Grade · ASTM D946 / EN 12591
Softer penetration grade preferred for high-temperature climates and secondary roads where more flexibility is required during placement.
MC-30
Medium Curing — Slow · ASTM D2027
The most fluid MC cutback grade. Blended with lighter petroleum distillate solvents for ease of application at ambient temperature — ideal for prime coats and dust suppression on unpaved roads.
MC-70
Medium Curing — Medium · ASTM D2027
Mid-range MC cutback grade offering a balance between fluidity and early strength development. Widely used for prime coats, tack coats, and maintenance patching of DRC road networks.
MC-3000
Medium Curing — High Viscosity · ASTM D2027
High-viscosity MC grade for heavy-duty road base stabilisation, chip seal programmes, and applications where a stiffer mix is required before curing. Designed for large DRC infrastructure contracts.
K1-60
Cationic Slow-Set Emulsion · ASTM D2397 / EN 13808
Cationic slow-set bitumen emulsion with 60% bitumen content. Designed for cold-applied road surfacing, recycled asphalt mixes, and slurry seal programmes — no heating required at site.
K1-70
Cationic Slow-Set Emulsion · ASTM D2397 / EN 13808
Higher bitumen content (70%) cationic slow-set emulsion for superior film thickness and better performance in high-traffic applications. Preferred for urban cold-mix overlays and surface dressing in the DRC.
